Pharmacological properties: Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid drug, a derivative of dihydrotestosterone (differs from the 3-position substituted by + 3,2-pyrazole carbonyl group and methyl at the 17a position). Stanozolol is a progesterone antagonist. Penetrating into the cell nucleus, stanozolol activates the genetic apparatus of the cell, which leads to an increase in the synthesis of DNA, RNA and structural proteins, activation of link enzymes and enhancement of tissue respiration, oxidative phosphorylation, AT synthesis and accumulation of macroergs in the cell.
